Poll Results!

When reached for comment, DJ said that winning our
3rd poll made up for losing two majors in 2010.

Our most recent poll taught us three things! For those that aren't math geniuses that's 0.27272727 things we learned per vote!
1) This wasn't a very interesting poll. My bad.
2) The lack of participation was likely due to there being no PGA event this week. Nothing like a bye week in the PGA Tour Playoffs to build the drama.
3) Those who did vote are rooting for a happy ending for one of two guys that got kinda screwed this year.

Those two guys being Paul Casey (No Ryder Cup selection) and Dustin Johnson (82 at Pebble to lose the US Open, Bunker-gate at the PGA, ran out of beer on his boat while chillin' with his buds).

So now with the disaster of poll #3 behind us we will take some time off from polling to let the drama build for the next one! Hint: our next poll will be about Player of the Year. Unless one of the guys on the short list wins the Tour Championship on Sunday and locks up POY.

Golf action returns Thursday. We've bashed the FedEx Cup numerous times (herehere, and probably other places throughout this site), but they have turned the Tour Championship into something worth watching. It was only a few years ago that Tiger wasn't playing the Tour Championship because he didn't want to. Now he's not playing because he sucks.

This is what they're playing for this week at East Lake in Atlanta:

Oh and 10-mill.

Note: I googled East Lake looking for images to use and this was on the first page of results:
A couple pretty rock solid rounds

I have no idea where this card is from, but SB (first column) had two 11s and a 10 to accompany his opening 12. His buddy DS stormed home with a back-nine 59 to claim medalist honours by 29 shots. That is pretty special right there.
